Message from Ray Macias, Principal:
Many times in the life of our students, there are things that prevent them from being successful in a traditional high school setting. Del Valle ISD offers the Alternative Teaching and Learning for All Students (ATLAS) Program, a non-traditional graduation program designed for students to be successful and earn a high school diploma.
The ATLAS program is designed as an alternative means of delivering educational services to the youth of this community. It is designed as both a drop-out prevention and recovery program. This is a school of choice, of need, but not a school of convenience. It is a program where students are provided an alternative in which to complete requirements for a high school diploma. Students are allowed to complete each course at an accelerated pace.
